Invoices

  • How to create an invoice?
    In the "Invoices" section click on "New", or in the "Customers" section select the customer and then click on "Invoice". A form "New Invoice" will show up, with default values filled in (invoice number, issue date, due date etc.). Enter all neccessary data and add items to invoice lines by clicking on "Add New Item" if you wish to add a new item, or by clicking on "Browse Items" if you wish to add the existing items. If you click on "Browse Items", a pop-up window will appear showing all your items, where you can filter/search items, and select the items you wish to add to invoice. You can add items to invoice by double clicking the items, or by dragging the items to invoice lines, or by selecting the items and clicking on "Add to Invoice". Click on "Preview" if you wish to preview the invoice. Click on "Save" when you are ready to save the invoice. You can easily edit it later if needed.
  • How to edit an invoice?
    In the "Invoices" section double click the invoice you want to edit, or select the invoice and click on "Edit".
  • How to delete an invoice?
    In the "Invoices" section select the invoice and click on "Delete". You can select multiple invoices by holding CTRL or SHIFT.
    Deleting an invoice will result in the deletion of all associated payments. Deletions are permanent and not reversible.
  • How to send an invoice by e-mail?
    In the "Invoices" section select the invoice and click on "Email". A pop-up window will appear with fields that will allow you to enter a message to the customer. Once you have written your message, click the Send button.
  • How to download an invoice as a PDF file?
    In the "Invoices" section select the invoice and click on "PDF".
  • How to add payments to an invoice?
    In the "Invoices" section select the invoice and click on "Payment", or in the "Customers" section select the customer and click on "Payment", or in the "Payments" section click on "New". You can add payments while creating/editing an invoice by clicking on "Add" button above Payments table.
  • How to delete a payment from an invoice?
    In the "Invoices" section double click the invoice, or select the invoice and click on "Edit".
    Select a payment in the Payments table and click on "Del" button.
  • How can I send the invoice to myself?
    In the "Invoices" section select the invoice and click on "Email". Enter your email address in the field "To" and click the Send button.
  • How can I change the existing invoice number?
    You can change existing invoice number while creating/editing an invoice, by clicking on arrows near the field "Invoice number".
  • How do I print the invoice?
    In the "Invoices" section select the invoice and click on "Print".
  • How to add VAT/GST/Sales Tax number on the invoice?
    To add customer's VAT/GST/Sales Tax number, click on "Edit Customer" and enter the tax number into "VAT number" field. To have your tax number on your invoices, go to "Settings" and enter your tax number into "Company Details" text field.
  • How to add default terms and conditions?
    Go to Settings --> Invoice Settings, and enter your terms and conditions into "Default Note" field.
  • How to change the invoice title?
    Go to Settings --> Invoice Settings, and change the "Invoice title" field.
  • How can I preview the invoice?
    Click on "Preview" while creating/editing the invoice.
  • How to change the date format?
    Go to Settings --> General Settings, and select the date format from drop-down list.
  • How to add a discount on an invoice?
    To apply a discount to the whole invoice, enter the discount percentage into "Discount" field.
    If you wish to apply a discount to a single product, click on desired "Discount" cell in "Invoice Lines" table, type the discount percentage and press Enter.
  • How to add payment terms?
    While creating/editing an invoice, click on "New" next to the "Terms of payment" drop-down list, or go to Settings --> General Settings, and click on "Add" below the table "Terms of payment".
  • How can I turn a quote into an invoice?
    Go to "Quotes", select a quote and click on "Invoice".

Items

  • How to create an item?
    Go to "Items" and click on "New", or click on "Add New Item" while creating/editing an invoice/quote.
  • How to edit an item?
    Go to "Items" and double-click the item, or select the item and click on "Edit".
  • How to delete an item?
    Go to "Items", select the item and click on "Delete".
  • How to include an item in an invoice?
    Click on "Add New Item" or "Browse Items" while creating/editing an invoice.

Customers

  • How to add a customer?
    Go to "Customers" and click on "New", or click on "New Customer" while creating/editing an invoice/quote.
  • How to edit a customer?
    Go to "Customers" and double-click the customer, or select the customer and click on "Edit".
  • How to delete a customer?
    Go to "Customers", select the customer and click on "Delete".
  • How to invoice a customer?
    Go to "Customers", select the customer and click on "Invoice".
  • How to check the details of my clients?
    Go to "Customers" and double-click the customer, or select the customer and click on "Edit".
    Or, click on "Edit Customer" while creating/editing an invoice/quote.

Account

  • How to upload a company logo on my account?
    Go to "Settings", click on "Upload" and choose the file.
    Maximum file size: 100 kB.
    Supported file types: jpg, gif, png.
  • How to export my data?
    You can export customers and items. Go to "Customers", right-click on the customers table and click on "Export". Go to "Items" and click on "Export".
  • How to upgrade my account?
    Click on "My Account" and follow the instructions.
  • How to downgrade my account?
    Click on "My Account" and follow the instructions.
  • How to close my account?
    Click on "My Account", then click on your user name on the top-right, and click on "Cancel Account".
  • How to change my account information?
    Click on My Account --> Account Settings.
  • How to find out what plan I am using?
    Click on "My Account".
